Digital Flowers vs Real Flowers: When Each One Wins
Real flowers win on presence. They change a room, they smell like something, and someone has to physically receive them. If you are apologising in person or marking a funeral, send real ones.
Digital flowers win on distance and timing. They cross borders instantly, cost nothing, and cannot be left wilting outside a locked door. For a friend three time zones away on their birthday, a link beats a delivery slot.
They also win on the card. A florist gives you a 200-character box; a digital bouquet gives you as much room as you need, which is usually where the actual gift is.
The dull practical case: peak dates. On Valentine's Day and Mother's Day, delivery prices roughly double and slots sell out days early. A virtual bouquet has no cut-off, so it is the better fallback when you have left it late.
